The 26th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF 2024) is set to take place at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an) from November 14 to 16, 2024. The event attracts 5,000 technology companies and institutions from over 100 countries and regions, including 180+ Fortune 500 companies and central state-owned enterprises, 1,000+ listed companies, 2,000+ gazelle companies and unicorns. 500,000 professional visitors will be present.
During the three-day event, nearly 10,000 technological projects will be exhibited and over 1,000 new achievements will be released. Meanwhile, there will be more than 100 industry-specific concurrent events such as high-end conferences, industry forums, investment and financing matchmaking, etc., to offer networking opportunities of high quality to the attendees.
Seventeen strong industries will feature their leading products in 20 exhibition halls, covering sectors such as AI & robotics, ecological chain business model of tech giants, equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, future technologies, medicine/biology & medical devices, low-altitude & aerospace, semiconductor display & integrated circuit, electronic information & big data, intelligent agriculture, transportation & logistics, etc.
In order to help the precise business matching between universities and enterprises, CHTF 2024 has specially set up a scientific discoveries pavilion and invited comprehensive scientific research institutes, institutions focusing on specific domains, colleagues and universities, corporate R&D centers, state-owned scientific research units, international scientific research organizations, and private scientific research institutions to participate in the event. As of mid-September, more than 100 universities have confirmed their participation. Data shows that in recent years, the transaction amount of science and technology achievements from universities and research institutes has generally shown an upward trend. By the end of 2023, the total contract amount for transferring, licensing, valuation investment, technology development, consulting, and other services has reached CNY 205.44 billion.
