The China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) kicked off its 20th session at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on Nov 14 with a grand launching ceremony.
Guangdong Party Secretary Li Xi announced the official opening of the fair, which was attended by officials including Li Xiaohong, head of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Ma Xingrui, governor of Guangdong province.
Wang Weizhong, Party chief of Shenzhen, and Li Chenggang, assistant minister of commerce, both addressed the audience. The entire ceremony was presided over by Chen Rugui, mayor of Shenzhen.
The fair will run for five days.
